Its unique non-clogging design allows you to drill smooth precise flat bottom holes in all woods and laminates quickly and efficiently with minimal heat build-up. The slightly relieved sides, sharpened rim and the 2 scoring spurs limit contact with the material being drilled, yet allow the bit to hold center perfectly, while ensuring only the leading edge touches the outside of the hole.
