These versatile settings allow the user to select between lighting the entire work area or a specific task or work surface. The fast-charging 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion 5.0Ah battery (sold separately) delivers 11.5 hours of continuous illumination on a single charge in the 360 Degree lantern mode, up to 21 hours in the 180 Degree lantern mode, and up to 59 hours in flashlight mode. It is fully compatible with Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries.
