Drill America D/ACO Cobalt Reduced Shank Drill Bit. D/ACO cobalt drill bits are made of heat resistant m42 cobalt. They are ground to a heavy-duty 135° split point. They are similar to high-speed steel, but with more cobalt for improved performance when cutting harder metals such as stainless steel or nickel alloys. Sizes include: 1/2 in., 33/64 in., 17/32 in., 35/64 in., 9/16 in., 37/64 in., 19/32 in., 39/64 in., 5/8 in., 41/64 in., 21/32 in., 43/64 in., 11/16 in., 45/64 in., 23/32 in., 47/64 in., 3/4 in., 49/64 in., 25/32 in., 51/64 in., 13/16 in., 53/64 in., 27/32 in., 55/64 in., 7/8 in., 57/64 in., 29/32 in., 59/64 in., 15/16 in., 61/64 in., 31/32 in., 63/64 in. and 1 in. All drills have 1/2 in. reduced shank.
- Effective in drilling tough, high tensile strength materials like stainless steel, inconel and titanium
- Display high red hardness, permitting speeds up to 30% greater than with conventional M2 high speed steel
- Manufactured to National Aerospace standard 907
- 135° split point is self-centering and reduces thrust
- All drills have 3 in. flute length and 6 in. overall length for minimal adjustment during tool changes
- Expand the size range capacity of a portable drill chuck
